You’ve been waiting for it: the web version of the Student Player is finally online! The perfect tool for getting your students more involved in language learning.

Distance learning often poses challenges in terms of access to equipment. Not all households have a computer, or it may be shared between several members of the family.

LaboPractice has developed this new version to make home language teaching more accessible. Your students can now take part in online teaching sessions from any device connected to the internet: personal computer, tablet or mobile phone. They can take part orally, increasing their chances of success.

Connect your students to your session in just one click!

Teaching languages at a distance is a real challenge. LaboPractice Home provides an effective response.

You send an invitation to your students containing the link to the Player and the session code for connecting to it. Your students click on the link and enter the code you’ve sent them. They can then complete the exercises you have created, such as homework.

Get your pupils more involved… even at home

By sending home exercises, you increase your students’ written and spoken language practice.

Thanks to the variety of media offered by LaboPractice (video, audio, text or images), you can keep your students motivated and capture their attention. You encourage them to work on their comprehension and pronunciation while having fun.

Your students can listen to themselves, self-assess and repeat until they are satisfied. This real bonus keeps the learner attentive.

Follow-up and educational continuity

Thanks to the retrieval of written and oral answers in LaboPractice Home, you can evaluate :

  • understanding the instructions or the video or audio extract
  • pronunciation (intonation and accentuation)
  • the vocabulary used
  • sentence structure
  • spelling (for written answers)

Once you have corrected their answers, you can provide detailed feedback on the session and give advice tailored to each of your learners.

Remember that your teacher’s area Online lets you save your answers and corrections in the cloud so you can use them at home (LaboPractice Home) or in the classroom (LaboPractice Classroom).

By extending the language laboratory beyond the walls of the classroom, LaboPractice enables you to keep track of your students on an individual basis, thus ensuring educational continuity.
